Show Night.

For our last night in the city, Chelsea and I ate at Carmines, which, amazingly enough, was located just around the corner from our hotel, a fact we were both grateful for as we went back to the room and rested for a while after stuffing our faces with too much shrimp marinara and expresso. After a short break, we headed to the Majestic Theatre to claim our front-row, balcony seats, where we spent three hours being blown away by the sounds and sights of the Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. Though I’d seen the show before off-broadway when it came to Jacksonville a couple years back, there was no comparison to seeing it in it’s hometown. The night was magical and heartbreakening, as we realized the next day meant our imminent departure.
