Columbia Restaurant.

With St. Augustine only 30 minutes out of reach from Jacksonville, my family and I have often ventured into the city for a walk down St. George street and treats from Kilwin’s. Somewhere between the years of going, we found Columbia Restaurant, and immediately fell in love with the Spanish decor and amazing Cuban food. Their 1905 salad is (by far) the best I’ve ever had, and the hunk of hot-out-of-the-oven, Cuban bread served before the meal is enough to guarantee I will definetly go home with leftovers. I’m always tempted to buy their cookbook upon exiting the corner restaurant, but the excuse to go into gorgeous St. Augustine for the night always outweighs any homecooking temptations.
