Looks like this is going to be the week of recipes! I visited my parents in Jacksonville this past weekend, and was happy to spend a good deal of my time consuming my mother’s homecooked meals. Alike in more ways than one, my mom and I have never been fans of the rich country food that living in the south has often offered us. However, she’s found the perfect recipe for taking a few key southern ingredients and combining them to make a hearty and light country boil. Substitue the andouille sausage for turkey sausage, and you’re set for a summery and healthy dinner party meal.
