Tradition.

I’ve been baking Christmas cookies at my grandmother’s house every year since I can remember. It’s just us girls; her, my mother, my sister and I, listening to the Michael Buble Christmas album and pretending like we’re not licking our fingers in between bits of icing or stealing gingerbread-man arms off pieces of broken cookies… it’s been two yearsΒ since she had her stem-cell transplant, but I still find myself reflecting on this time of year, treasuring it, feeling blessed to have it with those I have it with. Merry Christmas Eve everyone, hope you’re spending it with your loved ones.Β β™₯
